The End Dengue Fever Project by the End the Neglect Initiative highlights a comprehensive approach to public health in New Halfa, Kassala State, Sudan. Health education campaigns were conducted at New Halfa Teaching Hospital and Dahab Abdeljabir School Shelter Center, reaching over 380 individuals, including displaced populations. The initiative also distributed mosquito repellent creams to support disease prevention. Alongside these efforts, a research study assessed healthcare workers’ knowledge and practices regarding dengue fever, collecting data from 100 participants . By integrating community outreach with research, the project strengthens both prevention efforts and evidence-based responses to dengue fever.
